Files you convert

Conversions are performed in your browser whenever possible. Files used only for conversion stay on your device and are not uploaded to us. Your browser may temporarily hold converted files in memory so you can download them.

Files you choose to share

If you create a share link, the selected file is uploaded to our storage provider so the recipient can download it. Shared files and their link records are intended to expire automatically after one hour. Anyone with the link may be able to access the file until it expires, so do not share sensitive files.

Information stored on your device

We use browser storage to remember your daily conversion-credit usage and recent conversion details. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser.

Technical information

Our hosting and storage providers may process standard technical data, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, and security logs, to deliver and protect the service. We do not sell personal information.

Third-party services

Ripple.convert relies on service providers for hosting, temporary file storage, web fonts, and browser-based conversion software. Those providers may process limited information under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

• Do not create a share link if you want a file to remain only on your device.
• Clear this site's browser data to remove locally stored usage information.
• Avoid uploading files containing confidential or personal information.

Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
